Job Description:
The Web Hosting Technical Support position is responsible for providing technical support to our clients who use our hosting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web hosting and be able to troubleshoot technical issues, as well as provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and chat to clients using our hosting solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web hosting, email, and DNS
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and technical support requests
- Collaborate with other members of the technical support team to ensure high-quality support for our clients
- Assist clients with website migrations, domain name transfers, and other hosting-related tasks
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in web hosting technical support
- Strong understanding of web hosting technologies, including cPanel, Plesk, and WHM
- Experience with web servers such as Apache and NGINX
- Strong knowledge of DNS, email, and FTP protocols
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of WordPress or other Content Management systems is a plus
- Experience with WHMCS and other billing/support systems is a plus
